We're Not In Plumbstead Anymore
06.06.2006

Wow, long long time since updates.

Recent Pictures ... Sasquatch Festival 2006, Kamiak Prom 2006, and saying goodbye to Leilani Lanes

I want to post more pictures from my short time in England, but it's late, and I'm off to bed!

Greetings from Jolly Ol' England
10.02.2005

It's been far too long since I've updated. I'm in England. I love the city. I'm having a great time with my housemates, Steve and Hugo. I've been in the Central London a few times now, and am looking forward to going again this next weekend

I'm teaching at The Business Academy Bexley. It is part of the British Academy system, and is in fact the prototype for a new style of "openly designed" schools. The theatre is closed off, but the drama room has no door. In fact, many of the classrooms in the school have no 4th wall ... really weird.

The kids are not well behaved at all. They're little brats. I'm working on figuring out whether I will be teaching any drama this year. So far, all I've covered is social skills and how to behave in a classroom. It's a work in progress.

I will be updating more frequently, but am tired now. Here are the pictures I have so far...

My first 2-3 Weeks in Greenwich, Plumstead, and the School - Aug/Sept 2005
Trip to RedHook Brewery on a Ben Folds Concert Weekend - August 2005
The Dave Matthew's Concert I went to with Steve, Ryan and Eric - August 2005
My 26th Birthday party with Jaime and Chista - June 2005

Enjoy! Cheers! Talk to you soon!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
01.06.05

Yes, it is 2005 and I don't feel any different. As to be expected. I'm very much excited for 2005, though. I'm working on a lot of new things, especially now in January... I'm almost done with my student teaching, so I'll be looking for work in the next month, and I'm also trying to jump start my on-screen / voice-over career jump started. It's a very groovy time.

Dan's Greatest Hits 4 is out ... check it out in the Dan's Music section.

Also, My Headshot and Acting Resume are updated.

AND my Electronic Teaching Portfolio is updated with my student teaching information.

The long awaited DGH4 on the way?...
12.04.2004

It's been ages since an update ... heck, I was living in Bellingham. Since then, I've moved, camp counselled in the San Juans and Los Angeles, and am more than half-way done with my student teaching experience at Roosevelt High School.

Speaking of which, my student teaching experience has been AWESOME. I'm working with the legendary Ruben Van Kempen and incomperable Beth Orme ... the Dynamic Duo, I like to call them. In February, I'm fully accredited to teach in a classroom ... whoo hoo!

My new piece of sound equipment is on the way ... the Behringer BCA2000. Does that mean Dan's Greatest Hits 4 is on the way?... The possibility is unsettling!

Notes From Underground
11.15.2004

Notes from Underground was a show I did with Defibrillator Productions. Defibrillator is Joby Emmons and Sam Anderson, two old chums from my days at the UW.

If you missed the show because you didn't know ... shame on me.
If you missed the show because you didn't go ... shame on you.

Read my reviews!

04.08.2004

Thursday and the second week of spring quarter at WWU. I'm bushed already.
I just got home from rehearsal for The Illusion (scroll down). It is going to be a FANTASTIC show. With Tony Kushner as the playwright, you can't go wrong. AND, for ths first time, I get to do fight choreography.

School is going well ... I am doing a service learning project including working with high schoolers at Sehome High School. We will be doing some "devised work" which involves the students exploring and writing their own stuff. I'm really looking forward to that.

Well, that's it for this update. Except that my low-carb diet is going well. Thanks!
